چکیده

Background & AimsThe caloric restrictions are necessary during the bodybuilder athlete preparation, especially when approaching pre-contest phase. Although refeed strategies for bodybuilders current recent in scientific literature, drastically reducing calories pre-competition phase linearly without periodization may does not guarantee a greater reduction body fat and still being able harm athlete's physical on-stage readiness.MethodsTwo cross-sectional studies (n = 42) three case 3) involved athletes aged between 21 32 years old who had 14–32 weeks, time preparation phase, to prepare himself did contain any refeeding strategy their dietary protocol prescribed at work. Does body adiposity index evaluate percentage of body fat?

Introduction: The purpose of the present study was to determine whether the novel marker, body adiposity index (BAI), is accurate to measure percentage of body fat (PBF). Materials and methods: Seventy-eight males were undergone anthropometric examination. PBF was calculated by BAI and measured using InBody 3.0.   Results: Significant correlation was found between BAI and PBF (r = 0.751; P < ...

The Relationship between Skinfold Thickness and Body Mass Index in Estimating Body Fat Percentage on Bowen University Students

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a weight-to-height ratio used as a quick and easy guide to obesity classification. BMI of 30 or greater is indicative of excess body fat and has been labelled as increasing the risk of degenerative diseases such as cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Body fat percentage is also assessed through skinfold thickness measurement.. The aim of this study was to estimate the ...

Competition, complementarity and service level guarantee in Web services

Network and processing overhead associated with web services is a significant challenge to its performance. As a result, web service providers often announce a service level agreement. This ensures that consumers, who pay for the service, can get the service at a given quality level. In this paper, we study the competition between two providers offering functionally the same web services, whe...

Modular Reduction in GF(2n) without Pre-computational Phase

In this study we show how modular multiplication with Barrett and Montgomery reductions over certain finite fields of characteristic 2 can be implemented efficiently without using a pre-computational phase. We extend the set of moduli that is recommended by Standards for Efficient Cryptography (SEC) by defining two distinct sets for which either Barrett or Montgomery reduction is applicable. As...

Lower WERs do not guarantee better transcriptions

The goal of this paper is to investigate the effect of various properties of the CSR on automatic transcription. To this end, we used various versions of a continuous speech recognizer (CSR) to make automatic transcriptions. Our results show that changing certain properties of the CSR affects the resulting automatic transcriptions. The best results were obtained when ‘short’ hidden Markov model...
